Job Description
Perfetti Van Melle Nigeria seeks a Buyer responsible for sourcing and purchasing direct materials to meet production goals. You will identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers on price, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contracts; manage supplier contracts and ensure compliance and quality standards; maintain ethical supplier relationships; and identify cost-saving opportunities through volume discounts and alternative sourcing. Requirements: BSc or HND in Engineering, a quantitative field, or social science; SCM certification, master’s degree or MBA preferred; 5–8 years of procurement experience in the Food & Beverage industry; excellent negotiation, communication, prioritization, and analytical skills.
