Role Description
We are seeking a motivated IT Intern to support day-to-day IT operations while gaining hands-on experience in systems administration, user support, and enterprise IT processes.
The role reports directly to the Head, Information Technology and is designed to provide practical exposure to real-world IT environments, tools, and professional standards.
Key Responsibility
- Provide first-level IT support and basic troubleshooting for users
- Assist with installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment and systems
- Support system updates, patches, and ongoing IT projects
- Maintain accurate IT documentation and asset registers
- Escalate technical issues appropriately and follow resolution processes
- Support system uptime and service reliability initiatives
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience:
- Entry-level role suitable for students or recent graduates (2-4 years experience)
- Prior internship, academic projects, or hands-on exposure to IT support is an advantage
Education & Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree (or currently pursuing) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline
Knowledge & Skills
Knowledge:
- Basic understanding of computer systems, hardware, and operating systems
- Foundational knowledge of networking concepts and IT support processes
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
