Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION
You will work in the front office and closely with the Laboratory team to provide the best service /care to our patients. Ensure efficient phlebotomy and deliver excellent customer service aligned with the organizational goals.
- Maintain operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
- Perform, collect, and label lab tests for sending out to the Laboratory.
- Collecting blood and specimen samples from patients and donors and labeling all
- collected samples accurately for tests as in the Job description.
- Entering data for patients into an electronic medical record (EMR / LIMS).
- Protecting patient privacy rights by maintaining the confidentiality of personal and financial information.
- Clean and sterilize both instruments and equipment after use.
- Process, organize, label, and transport specimens for laboratory testing.
- Maintain frequent communication with the Laboratory.
EDUCATION
- Diploma in Nursing or Phlebotomy or related field
- BSc and above will be an added advantage
- 1-3 years proven experience
SKILLS
- Professional certification in phlebotomy from a recognized program
- Vaccination
- Ability to successfully draw blood from patients with minimal or no complications
- Empathy and interpersonal skills for working with patients
- Detail-oriented and committed to ensuring patient confidentiality
- Excellent motor skills and the ability to stand for long periods
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills
- Data entry and computer skills
- Strong attention to detail
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₦80,00.00 – ₦100,00.00 per month
