Job Description
Location: Ikeja, Lagos (Onsite)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: ₦120,00/month
Role Summary
We are looking for a reliable and organized Fleet officer to coordinate fleet operations. The ideal candidate must live close to Ikeja and have experience in fleet & logistics.
Key Responsibilities
Fleet Operations
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the company’s vehicle fleet.
Vehicle Maintenance & Repairs
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all fleet vehicles.
- Liaise with mechanics, service centers, and vendors for routine servicing and repairs.
- Ensure timely resolution of vehicle faults and breakdowns.
- Monitor vehicle condition and recommend replacements or disposals when necessary.
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure all vehicles have valid licenses, insurance, roadworthiness certificates, and regulatory approvals.
- Maintain up-to-date fleet documentation and compliance records.
- Ensure adherence to transport laws, safety standards, and company policies.
- Schedule and monitor vehicle usage to ensure optimal allocation and minimal downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of fleet movements, mileage, fuel usage, and driver assignments.
- Coordinate vehicle dispatch and retrieval as required by operations.
Requirements
- OND/HND/BSc in Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- 1–3 years experience in fleet administration
- Basic Excel knowledge or basic inventory tools.
- Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail.
- Ability to drive with a valid drivers license.
- Should reside in or near Ikeja, Lagos.
