Job Description
Our client is a premium African menswear fashion brand with physical stores in Lagos, stockists across Nigeria, and a growing e-commerce presence, we are now expanding into Africa, Europe, and North America.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Fashion Brand & Commercial Growth Manager to lead our brand’s evolution and commercial expansion. This role merges brand stewardship with growth marketing and sales leadership, ensuring that every touchpoint reflects our brand essence while driving measurable business outcomes.
You will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that enhance brand recognition, deepen customer engagement, and accelerate revenue growth across all channels—both physical and digital.
Key Responsibilities
1. Brand Strategy & Stewardship:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive brand strategy aligned with the Brand’s Creator Archetype, ensuring consistency across all communications, visuals, and experiences.
- Uphold and evolve the brand’s voice, personality, and visual identity as defined in the Brand Book.
- Ensure all marketing, packaging, and customer interactions reflect the Brand’s core values: Cultural Enrichment, Innovation, and Global Influence.
2. Growth Marketing & E-Commerce:
- Lead digital marketing strategies to increase online sales, brand visibility, and customer acquisition.
- Oversee e-commerce platform optimization, user experience, and performance analytics.
- Plan and execute multi-channel campaigns (social media, email, content, influencer partnerships) that tell the Brand story and inspire action.
3. Commercial Expansion & Sales Leadership:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets across retail, wholesale, and e-commerce.
- Identify and pursue new market opportunities in Africa, Europe, and North America.
- Build and nurture B2B relationships with retailers, distributors, and fashion collaborators.
4. Product & Campaign Launches:
- Collaborate with design and production teams to successfully launch new collections, ensuring alignment with brand positioning and market trends.
- Create compelling launch campaigns that highlight craftsmanship, innovation, and cultural storytelling.
5. Team Leadership & Collaboration:
- Lead and mentor a lean, cross-functional team spanning marketing, sales, and e-commerce.
- Foster a culture of creativity, accountability, and brand passion.
6. Analytics & Reporting:
- Monitor KPIs related to brand health, sales performance, and campaign effectiveness.
- Provide regular insights and recommendations to the CEO and leadership team.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Fashion Management, or related field. MBA is a plus.
- 5+ years in brand management, growth marketing, or commercial leadership within the fashion or lifestyle sector.
- Proven experience scaling a brand through e-commerce and international expansion.
- Strong understanding of the Creator Archetype and ability to translate it into brand and commercial strategies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency with digital marketing tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms.
- Passion for African fashion, cultural storytelling, and innovative design.
