Job Description
Job Title: Mall Manager
Location: Enugu
Lease Management:
· Oversee all leasing activities, including negotiating leases, managing tenant relationships, and maintaining high occupancy rates.
· Develop and implement leasing strategies to attract and retain high-quality tenants that align with the mall’s brand and target market.
· Monitor financial issues of the property with full P/L responsibilities. Responsible for on-time bill submission and payment recovery.
· Formulate strategic planning and execution on people, financial, project flow, positioning, brand mix, rental budget, and leasing.
· Generating leasing leads and forwarded it to the Head office. Keeping coordination for all the leasing leads as per instructions given by the Head Office.
Marketing and Promotion:
· Develop and execute comprehensive marketing and promotional plans to drive foot traffic, increase sales, and enhance the mall’s visibility and brand image.
· Collaborate with tenants and external partners to create engaging events, campaigns, and activations that resonate with our target audience.
Facility Management:
· Ensure the mall is well-maintained, clean, safe, and aesthetically pleasing at all times.
· Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and renovations as needed to uphold the highest standards of facility management.
· Develop plans that minimize incidents or reverse any negative trends.
· Develop a plan to reduce the cost in manpower and energy.
· Ensure the property is properly prepared for emergencies through leadership of the Emergency Preparedness Committee and implementation of effective drills.
· Lead efforts in managing all local crisis situations, including establishing a remediation plan consistent with Company policies and procedures, engaging the right authorities and resources and communicating plans.
Tenant Relations:
· Cultivate positive relationships with tenants, addressing their needs and concerns in a timely and effective manner.
· Act as a liaison between tenants and management, facilitating communication and resolving conflicts as needed.
Customer Service:
· Implement customer service initiatives to enhance the shopping experience for visitors and promote a welcoming and inclusive environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Minimum of 8 years of experience in overseeing community malls or department stores.
· Bachelor’s degree in business management, real estate, property management, or a related field.
· Proficient in local commercial property market dynamics, possessing a robust network within tenant and property agency circles.
· Demonstrates outstanding analytical prowess, negotiation abilities, interpersonal finesse, leadership acumen, and adept presentation and communication skills.
· Strategic mindset coupled with strong business acumen, emphasizing results, self-motivation, confidence, extroversion, initiative, and the capacity to thrive independently and under pressure
