Job Description
This is a founder-proximate, execution-first leadership role. The Head of Talent &Performance operates as a direct extension of the CEO, responsible for hiring quality,performance standards, and follow-through — while removing people-related andadministrative load that distracts the CEO from the highest-leverage work.Administrative work in this role is not clerical; it is context-heavy, judgment-driven, anddirectly tied to execution and performance. This role is not HR. It is a load-bearing role built on judgment, rigor, context, and discipline.
WHAT YOU’LL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR• Material reduction in CEO time spent on day-to-day people issues.• Higher quality hiring outcomes, measured by faster fit validation and earlierremediation.• Consistent enforcement of performance standards during probation.• Clear documentation and follow-through on people decisions.• Early identification and escalation of talent risks.
