Job Title: Expeditor (Packer)

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

ROLE SUMMARY

The Expeditor (Order Packer) plays a critical support role in ensuring accurate, timely, and

well-presented food orders for dine-in, takeaway, and delivery services. This position

focuses on order coordination, packaging accuracy, food handling standards, and seamless

communication between the kitchen, service team, and delivery partners to maintain

service efficiency and high guest satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Accurately pack food and beverage orders according to order tickets and service

standards.

• Verify order completeness, presentation, and packaging quality before dispatch.

• Coordinate closely with kitchen staff, runners, and delivery riders to ensure smooth and

timely order flow.

• Correctly label and organize takeaway and delivery orders to prevent mix-ups.

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the packing and expediting area at all times.

• Promptly report missing items, delays, or order discrepancies to supervisors.

• Adhere strictly to food safety, hygiene, and handling standards in line with hospitality

regulations.

• Assist with basic inventory checks for packaging materials such as containers, bags, and

cutlery.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• ND minimum qualification.

• Previous experience in hospitality, kitchen support, or an order-packing role is an

advantage.

• 1 years of experience as a packer is required.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy under pressure.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods while handling multiple orders.
