Job Description
Job Summary
The Office Assistant provides administrative and clerical support to ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the office. The role involves handling office correspondence, maintaining records, supporting staff, and ensuring the office environment is organized and efficient.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and office correspondence
- Receive visitors and attend to basic inquiries professionally
- Assist with filing, documentation, and record keeping
- Prepare and distribute memos, letters, and other office documents
- Maintain office supplies and coordinate replenishment when necessary
- Support staff with photocopying, scanning, and printing of documents
- Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of the office workspace
- Assist with basic bookkeeping, data entry, and reporting tasks
- Run office errands and support logistics when required
- Perform any other administrative duties assigned by management
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of SSCE / OND (depending on company preference)
- Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, email)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision
- Neat, organized, and professional appearance
- Prior experience in an office role is an added advantage
