Job summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and professionally certified Architect with strong leadership capabilities to join our team. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who can lead design teams, manage complex projects, and mentor junior staff while delivering high-quality architectural solutions from concept to completion.
Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage architectural projects through all design and construction phases
- Provide design leadership and strategic direction across multiple projects
- Supervise, mentor, and support junior architects and design staff
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, engineers, and contractors
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and professional standards
- Review and approve architectural drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
- Conduct site visits and oversee construction progress and quality
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables
- Represent the company in client meetings and professional engagements
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
- Professional architectural certification/license (ARCON AND NIA) (mandatory)
- Minimum 10 years of professional architectural experience
- Demonstrated leadership and team management experience
- Strong understanding of building codes, zoning regulations, and construction methods
- Proficiency in architectural software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, BIM tools)
- Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead projects independently and collaboratively
- Must pass a background check, which includes: Drug test, serology test, Residential visit, CV check, provide guarantors and referees
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience leading multidisciplinary design teams
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in [commercial / residential / mixed-use / sustainable design] projects
- Knowledge of sustainable design principles and green building standards
