Job Description
Promasidor is seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Officer to coordinate and oversee shipping activities, ensuring smooth operations and timely clearance of shipments via sea and air. This role requires close collaboration with third-party agents, internal teams, and regulatory bodies to facilitate efficient logistics processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate timely clearing of shipments from ports.
- Monitor and track shipments in transit.
- Liaise with government agencies to resolve related issues.
- Process duty payments and other regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- B.Sc. Degree in a relevant field.
- 3 years of experience in shipping, freight forwarding, or logistics.
- Strong knowledge of Nigeria’s clearing processes.
