Role Overview

The Fleet Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and compliance of the company’s vehicle fleet across its subsidiaries. This role plays a critical part in ensuring fleet safety, operational efficiency, cost control, and effective coordination between drivers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Work Mode: Onsite

What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate preventive maintenance, servicing, and repairs with mechanics and external vendors to minimize vehicle downtime.
  • Manage daily fleet operations, including vehicle scheduling, driver dispatch, and route planning across business units.
  • Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements, including vehicle registration, insurance, permits, and safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of fleet inventory, fuel consumption, servicing history, and compliance documentation.
  • Monitor fuel usage and fleet-related costs, preparing operational reports for management.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between drivers, management, and vendors, resolving issues and enforcing fleet policies.

Who You Are

  • Proven experience in logistics, transportation, fleet operations, or a related field.
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; an associate’s or bachelor’s degree is an advantage.
  • Proficient in fleet management software, GPS tracking systems, and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
