Key Responsibilities…
Strategic Business Development & Revenue
- You will identify and close high-value opportunities with corporate clients, HNIs, and aggregators to drive significant revenue growth.
- You will own and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets, providing detailed forecasts and market intelligence to leadership.
- You will build strategic alliances and partnerships to expand market reach and represent the company’s at key industry events and networking forums.
Client Relationship Leadership
- You will serve as the primary escalation point for key accounts, ensuring top-tier service delivery and a premium customer experience.
- You will anticipate market trends and proactively engage clients with timely solutions for their cross-border payment needs.
- You will collaborate with Treasury and Compliance teams to ensure seamless execution of large-scale transactions.
Team Leadership & Coaching
- You will mentor and coach Sales Executives, helping them improve their performance, refine their sales techniques, and achieve their individual goals.
- You will collaborate with leadership to recruit and onboard new team members, building a scalable and high-performing sales engine.
- You will shape the sales function by setting performance benchmarks and fostering a results-oriented team culture.
What Success Looks Like…
- Consistently meeting or exceeding 100% of quarterly revenue targets and deal flow benchmarks.
- Successfully establishing at least 3-5 new strategic partnerships or corporate aggregator alliances within the first six months.
- Measurable improvement in the conversion rates and target attainment of the junior sales team members under your mentorship.
- Maintaining a zero-churn rate for high-value accounts through proactive relationship management and service excellence.
To be considered for this role you should have…
- 5+ years in business development or relationship management (Fintech/Banking/B2B).
- At least 2 years managing senior-level clients or high-value corporate portfolios.
- Proven experience mentoring or leading sales teams (formal or informal).
- Established connections within the Nigerian financial and B2B ecosystem.
- Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Deep understanding of FX market dynamics and cross-border payment solutions.
