Job Description

Job summary

The Experience Sales Associate at CED Africa is responsible for delivering a premium, demo-led showroom experience that guides customers to the right audio-visual solutions. The role involves qualifying customer needs, running structured product demonstrations, closing retail sales, and accurately routing clients requiring consulting or partner engagement, while maintaining strong CRM discipline and brand standards.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and qualify walk-in and booked customers by understanding their needs, preferences, and project scope.
  • Conduct structured product demonstrations in line with CED Africa’s approved demo journey.
  • Close retail sales confidently while protecting pricing integrity and brand value.
  • Accurately route customers based on needs:
  • Track B: Existing home or retail upgrades
  • Track C: New construction/custom projects routed to paid CED Design Studio consulting
  • Track D: Dealers, contractors, or integrators routed through CED Africa’s partner process
  • Log and manage all sales opportunities, follow-ups, and next steps in Zoho CRM.
  • Coordinate handoffs with the design and consulting teams, ensuring accurate client information.
  • Maintain showroom readiness, including product displays, demo zones, and point-of-sale discipline.
  • Adhere strictly to experience standards, sales processes, and internal policies.

Requirements:

  • MSc or Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field.
  • 4 years experience in the relevant field.
  • Prior experience in premium retail sales, customer experience, or consultative selling is an advantage.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer engagement skills.
  • Comfortable working with CRM systems and following structured sales processes.
