Job Description

Role Summary

The IT Manager is responsible for the management of the organization’s IT systems and services. This role is hands-on and covers applications, infrastructure, security, and IT operations, ensuring systems are stable, secure, and able to support business needs.

The role provides leadership across applications, middleware, infrastructure, security, and IT operations, balancing strategic planning with operational excellence, risk management, and service continuity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and support business applications, systems, and integrations
• Ensure availability, performance, and reliability of IT systems
• Handle incidents, system issues, and root-cause analysis
• Manage user access, permissions, and basic security controls
• Coordinate system changes, upgrades, and releases
• Oversee on-prem and/or hybrid infrastructure including data centres, networks, and servers
• Ensure high availability, performance, and operational stability of production systems
• Lead IT service management processes (incident, problem, change, release, capacity)
• Ensure disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity preparedness
• Ensure the security, confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems and data
• Enforce access control, identity management, and role-based permissions
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory, audit, and governance requirements
• Lead vulnerability management, risk assessments, and incident response efforts
• Work with vendors and service providers for support and maintenance
• Maintain system documentation, configurations, and backups

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years experience in IT, systems, or technology roles
• Hands-on experience supporting applications, infrastructure and software
• Basic knowledge of networking, servers, databases, and operating systems
• Understanding of access control, user management, and security basics
• Experience working with vendors and support teams
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skill
