Job Description

We are seeking a Porter/Housekeeper who is reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring guest rooms, public areas, and luggage handling duties are carried out professionally to maintain cleanliness, safety, and guest comfort.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Porter:

• Assist guests with luggage during check-in and check-out.
• Escort guests to rooms and explain basic room features.
• Respond promptly to guest requests such as carrying bags or delivering items.
• Support the front desk and housekeeping with errands and supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness of hotel entrance, lobby, and external areas.

As a Housekeeper:

• Clean guest rooms, hallways, and common areas according to hotel standards.
• Change linens, make beds, dust, mop, vacuum, and sanitize bathrooms.
• Replenish room supplies (toiletries, towels, etc.).
• Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns.
• Follow hotel cleaning procedures, including health and safety protocols.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in hospitality or facility maintenance is an added advantage.
• Physically fit and able to lift/move luggage and cleaning equipment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Trustworthy, hardworking, and detail-oriented.
• Must be neat, presentable, and respectful in demeanor.
• Willingness to work weekends and public holidays
