Overview

The Cultural and Creative Arts (CCA) Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons in art, music, drama, dance, and crafts. The teacher helps pupils express themselves creatively while developing cultural awareness, creativity, and practical skills in a safe and supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and teach CCA lessons in line with the school’s curriculum and age appropriate learning goals,
  • Teach basic art, drama and craft skills
  • Encourage creativity, self-expression, and appreciation of culture,
  • Prepare and manage art materials and resources,
  • Supervise pupils and ensure safety during practical activities,
  • Supports hands on learning through projects and problem solving activities,
  • Assess pupils’ participation and creative progress,
  • Maintain a clean and organized class during activities,
  • Uphold safeguarding policies and behaviour expectations

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant qualification in Creative Arts, Cultural Arts, Education, or a related field.
  • Experience teaching Creative and Cultural Arts to children is an advantage.
  • Basic skills in art, music, drama, dance, or cultural activities suitable for primary pupils.

Job Type: Part-time
