Job Description
Job Title: Business Development Manager

Reports To: General Manager / CEO
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead revenue growth, expand market presence, and develop high-performing sales strategies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing key client relationships, leading sales teams, and driving sustainable business expansion.
This role requires a strategic thinker with strong execution capability, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record in sales and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Business Growth & Revenue Generation
- Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve revenue and market expansion targets
- Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and distribution channels
- Drive sales performance across products and services
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform strategy
Sales Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, coach, and manage the business development and sales team
- Set sales targets, KPIs, and performance expectations
- Track team performance and implement corrective actions where necessary
- Recruit, train, and mentor sales and business development staff
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders
- Lead high-value negotiations and close strategic deals
- Ensure excellent customer experience and long-term client retention
Strategy, Planning & Reporting
- Prepare business development plans, forecasts, and budgets
- Provide regular performance reports to management
- Evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies and recommend improvements
- Support management in strategic decision-making
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing, operations, and finance teams to ensure effective execution of sales initiatives
- Align business development activities with overall company objectives
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Business Development Manager, Sales Manager, or similar leadership role
- Strong background in sales, negotiations, and revenue growth
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate high-performing teams
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
