Job Description

Job Title: Executive Assistant to the COO

Location: CBD, Abuja

Hours: Monday – Friday (8:00 AM – 05:30 PM): Saturday (9:00AM-02:00PM)

Salary: 180,00 Naira Monthly

A reputable organisation in the power and renewable energy sector is seeking a highly organised and proactive Executive Assistant to support the Chief Operating Officer (COO). The ideal candidate will manage administrative tasks, coordinate operations-related activities, and ensure a smooth flow of information between the COO and internal and external stakeholders. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, confidentiality, and a positive attitude are prioritised over formal qualifications.

Basic responsibilities:

  • Provide executive administrative support to the COO
  • Manage schedules, calendars, and meeting coordination
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and meeting documentation
  • Track action items and departmental follow-ups
  • Handle correspondence and internal communications
  • Conduct research and prepare executive briefs
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and logistics
  • Support project documentation, filing, and record-keeping
  • Liaise with departments, vendors, and clients
  • Ensure confidentiality and professional communication
  • Support operational reporting and workflow efficiency

Skills and Qualifications Required:

  • OND/HND/B.Sc. in any discipline (administrative certifications are an advantage)
  • 2–3 years’ experience in an Executive Assistant or administrative role
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital tools
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
