Job Description

Job Title: Logistics Manager

Location: CBD, Abuja

Hours: Monday – Saturday (8:00 am – 5:30 pm)

Salary: ₦ 250,00

Job Objective:

A reputable organisation in the power and renewable energy sector is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee transportation ,warehousing, fleet operations ,and end-to-end supply chain processes for a major project. The role requires strong operational competence ,excellent coordination skills ,and the ability to ensure efficiency ,accuracy ,and cost-effectiveness across all logistics activities. Practical logistics management experience will be prioritised over formal qualifications.

Qualifications:

  • Design and implement electrical and solar power systems for project activities.
  • Plan ,coordinate ,and monitor daily logistics operations or project activities.
  • Manage inventory ,warehousing ,transportation ,and delivery schedules.
  • Optimize supply chain processes to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
  • Monitor fleet operations ,vehicle utilisation ,route planning ,and dispatch activities.
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors ,drivers ,and transportation partners.
  • Develop and implement logistics procedures ,SOPs ,and safety guidelines.
  • Oversee receiving ,storage, and movement of goods and project materials.
  • Conduct performance analysis ,track KPIs ,and prepare logistics reports.
  • Ensure full compliance with regulatory ,safety ,and company standards.
  • Support procurement planning by providing accurate inventory and logistics data.
  • Supervise logistics staff and provide training ,guidance ,and performance oversight.
  • Uphold professionalism ,discipline ,and high-quality service delivery at all times. QUALIFICATIONSANDEXPERIENCE:
  • HND/B .Sc in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Professional certifications (e.g. ,supply chain, logistics operations) are an advantage but not compulsory.
  • Minimum 4 years’ hands-on experience in logistics or supply chain management.
  • Strong knowledge of transport coordination ,warehousing, inventory control, and fleet management.
  • Excellent planning ,coordination ,and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership ,communication ,and team management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics/warehouse management tools.
  • Good analytical skills and ability to work underpressure to meet deadlines.
  • Positive attitude, integrity ,discipline ,flexibility ,and commitment to efficient execution

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: ₦250,00.00 per month
