Job Description

We are looking for a smart and driven Barrister to join our dynamic team. This entry-level role is ideal for a recently called Barrister who is passionate about employment law, HR compliance, and corporate legal support. You’ll be instrumental in helping us navigate legal risks, contracts, employee disputes, and ensure we operate within the law in all our HR solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft and review contracts, service-level agreements (SLAs), HR policies, and internal documentation
• Provide legal advice on employment laws, HR policies, workplace grievances, and outsourcing regulations
• Support dispute resolution between clients and outsourced staff, and represent the company where needed
• Assist in the preparation of case files, legal letters, and documents for labour and industrial courts
• Ensure the company complies with legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations
• Carry out legal research and provide updates on changes in employment law and labour regulations
• Liaise with external legal counsel and regulatory bodies when required

Qualifications & Skills:

• LLB and BL (Barrister at Law) – Must be called to the Nigerian Bar
• 0–2 years post-call experience (NYSC or internship experience is acceptable)
• Strong interest in employment law, labour law, HR compliance, and corporate governance
• Good legal research, writing, and communication skills
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
• Ability to work independently and with a cross-functional team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₦80,00.00 – ₦100,00.00 per month
