Job Description
Job summary
We are seeking a persuasive and customer-focused Telesales Specialist to join our cross-functional team in driving growth and customer acquisition across our cross-border financial services. In this role, you will be responsible for initiating outbound calls, nurturing leads, and promoting our digital payment and remittance solutions to customers.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct outbound calls to prospective and existing customers to promote cross-border digital financial products and services.
- Clearly communicate the value of our solutions (remittance, digital wallets, virtual cards, merchant payments, etc.).
- Understand customer needs, handle objections professionally, and provide prompt product guidance.
- Manage and update CRM systems with call notes, lead statuses, and conversion feedback.
- Execute targeted telesales campaigns and follow-up strategies for lead nurturing and conversion.
- Provide feedback to marketing, product, and customer support on customer trends, needs, and product experience.
- Support customer onboarding, cross-selling, and upselling initiatives.
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly telesales performance KPIs.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the company’s products, currencies, cross-border corridors, and applicable limitations.
- Maintain professionalism, empathy, clarity, and a persuasive tone in all customer communication.
- Ensure compliance with internal processes related to KYC, AML, risk warning communication, and regulated product offerings.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless post-conversion handover and customer support.
- Ability to communicate clearly and articulately with excellent intonation.
- Perform any other duties as it may be assigned by the management, etc.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in telemarketing, telesales, or outbound customer engagement.
- Experience in a FinTech, digital bank, financial institution, or cross-border payments environment is a plus.
- Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills.
- Proficient in CRM tools and call center software (e.g., HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce).
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport quickly over the phone.
- A persuasive, confident, and energetic personality with a goal-oriented mindset.
- Understanding of cross-border financial services or digital payments is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable handling high call volumes and managing multiple leads simultaneously.
- Multilingual abilities to engage customers in various regions.
- Experience working with distributed or remote teams.
- Familiarity with compliance and regulatory considerations in financial services.
