Job Description
Location: International Airport, Abuja
Industry: Hospitality / Inflight Catering
Reports to: Demi Chef de Partie / Chef de Partie
Job Summary: The Commis Chef assists in basic food preparation and kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and high cleanliness standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients and assist in cooking under supervision.
- Maintain clean, organized, and sanitized workstations.
- Follow recipes and production procedures accurately.
- Ensure proper food storage and handling.
- Support the kitchen team in plating and dispatch.
Requirements:
- Minimum of SSCE / OND (culinary certificate is an advantage).
- 1–2 years of relevant kitchen experience.
- Keen attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Must be disciplined and able to work flexible hours.
