Job Description
The International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) is seeking a dedicated Research Support Officer for a two-year renewable contract based in Ibadan.
Duties include:
- Assisting in setting up and maintaining forage research trials.
- Supporting sample preparation, laboratory analysis, and data processing.
- Maintaining research equipment and providing logistical support for field activities.
- Collecting and preparing feed and forage samples, including operation of the NIRS machine.
- Performing additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications: Minimum HND/BSc in Animal Science or related fields, with at least four years of relevant experience. GAS Certification from NIAS is required.
Skills: Proficiency in data collection and analysis, strong organizational abilities, effective communication, and adaptability to field conditions.
