Job Description
Join our team as a GIS & Meteorological Officer to analyze weather and geospatial data, create maps and models, support forecasting and early warning systems, and produce technical reports. Responsibilities include collecting and processing meteorological and remote sensing data, maintaining GIS databases (ArcGIS/QGIS), performing spatial analysis, developing visualizations and scripts (Python/R), and collaborating with field teams during observations or emergencies. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Meteorology, Atmospheric Science, Geography, or related field; experience with GIS and data analysis; strong problem-solving, communication skills, and willingness to travel.
