Job summary

The senior graphic designer at Havana Group of Company will lead visual design across digital and print platforms, creating impactful concepts that strengthen brand identity, support marketing initiatives, ensure consistency, and mentor junior designers for creative excellence.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the creation of visual concepts for marketing materials, social media, websites, and other digital and print platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop design solutions that align with brand identity and project objectives.
  • Design and oversee high-quality graphics, illustrations, and layouts for advertisements, brochures, flyers, banners, and other promotional materials.
  • Ensure consistent application of brand guidelines across all creative outputs and update guidelines when necessary.
  • Review and prepare final design files for print and digital use, ensuring accuracy in formatting, color, and resolution.
  • Provide creative direction and mentorship to junior designers, including reviewing work and offering constructive feedback.
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines and maintaining quality standards.
  • Interpret and implement feedback from management and stakeholders to refine and improve designs.
  • Support the development of creative concepts for campaigns, client presentations, and internal projects.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, design tools, and best practices to keep the company’s visual assets fresh and competitive.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a graphic designer or in a similar design leadership role.
  • Advanced proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Strong understanding of typography, colour theory, layout design, and visual hierarchy.
  • Excellent portfolio demonstrating a wide range of high-quality design projects and creative leadership.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects and priorities.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to present and defend creative ideas.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to high-quality design output.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Additional skill (advantage):

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or visual arts.
  • Working knowledge of web design principles (HTML/CSS) is an added advantage.
  • Experience with video editing, motion graphics, or animation tools is a plus.
