Job Description

Job Title: Sales & Business Development Officer

Job Summary

Our client, a baby food manufacturing company, is seeking a sales-driven and proactive Sales & Business Development Officer to drive revenue growth by identifying new sales opportunities, expanding the customer base, and increasing market penetration.

This role is ideal for candidates who are comfortable with targets, enjoy selling, and thrive in a performance-driven environment with clear rewards for results.

Key Responsibilities

· Actively generate sales by onboarding new retailers, distributors, wholesalers, and corporate clients

· Drive monthly revenue targets through direct selling and relationship management

· Manage and grow existing customer accounts

· Identify new market opportunities and sales channels

· Provide regular updates on sales pipeline, leads, and closed deals

· Represent the brand at meetings, exhibitions, and sales activations

Requirements

· 1–2 years’ experience in sales or business development (FMCG experience is an advantage)

· Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets

· Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills

· Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented

· Comfortable working in a performance-driven role

Compensation Structure:

Base Salary

· ₦100,00 monthly guaranteed salary

Performance Bonuses (Monthly)

· ₦100,00 bonus for achieving 80% of monthly sales target

· ₦150,00 bonus for achieving 100% of monthly sales target

Bonuses are paid alongside the base salary in the month the target is achieved.

Performance Management

· Sales targets will be clearly defined and reviewed monthly

· Performance will be monitored regularly, with feedback provided

· Continued engagement is performance-based
