Job Description

Job Summary

A private creche & montessori school in Ibadan is seeking an organised and versatile Accounts & Admin Officer to handle basic accounting functions alongside administrative support duties. The ideal candidate should be structured, trustworthy, and capable of balancing financial record-keeping with day-to-day office responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Record financial transactions and maintain basic accounting records
  • Manage invoices, payments, expenses, and petty cash
  • Assist with bank reconciliations and preparation of simple financial reports
  • Support payroll processing and statutory deductions
  • Maintain administrative records, files, and documentation
  • Handle correspondence, emails, and routine office communication
  • Support day-to-day office operations and coordination
  • Assist management with assigned accounting and administrative tasks

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or HND in Accounting, Business Administration, Management, or aVrelated field
  • Minimum of 2–3 years relevant experience in accounts and/or administration
  • Basic accounting knowledge and numerical accuracy
  • Good organisational and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and basic accounting software
