Job Description

• Support the lead teacher in planning, preparing, and delivering lessons.
• Assist with classroom management by maintaining order and ensuring a positive learning environment.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who need extra help.
• Supervise students during classroom activities, lunch breaks, recess, and school events.
• Prepare and organize teaching materials, resources, and classroom displays.
• Assist in grading assignments, recording student progress, and maintaining accurate records.
• Support students with special educational needs or disabilities under the guidance of the teacher.
• Encourage good behavior and promote respect, cooperation, and inclusivity among pupils.
• Help with administrative tasks such as photocopying, filing, and distributing materials.
• Accompany students on field trips and provide supervision to ensure safety.
• Communicate effectively with teachers, students, and parents when necessary.
• Foster a safe, caring, and stimulating classroom atmosphere that supports learning.
