Job Description: Restaurant Waitress
Position Overview
The Restaurant Waitress is responsible for delivering excellent customer service by welcoming guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience. This role requires professionalism, attentiveness, and teamwork, with a morning and afternoon shift schedule to support flexible restaurant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service
- Greet and seat guests warmly.
- Present menus, explain specials, and answer customer inquiries.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen.
- Food & Beverage Service
- Serve meals and drinks promptly and professionally.
- Ensure tables are properly set and maintained during service.
- Handle special requests and dietary needs courteously.
- Cash Handling & Records
- Process customer bills and handle payments accurately.
- Maintain daily sales records and report discrepancies.
- Cleanliness & Compliance
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas and service stations.
- Follow hygiene, safety, and restaurant service standards.
- Teamwork & Support
- Collaborate with kitchen and management staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist in restocking supplies and preparing for peak service hours.

Qualifications
