Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Production Pharmacist based in Lagos, Nigeria. The Production Pharmacist will oversee the manufacturing and production processes to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and quality control measures. Responsibilities include supervising production staff, ensuring adherence to operational guidelines, maintaining accurate production records, and implementing Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards. The role will also involve contributing to process improvements and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing, production processes, and compliance requirements.
- Experience in quality assurance, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and quality control procedures.
- Effective supervisory and team management skills, with a focus on production staff training and coordination.
- Attention to detail, excellent problem-solving abilities, and strong organizational skills.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm), licensed by the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN).
- Proficiency in maintaining detailed and accurate production documentation.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, on-site environment in Lagos.
- Previous experience in an FMCG or pharmaceutical production environment is an added advantage.
