Job Description

Job Summary

The Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily activities on the construction site, ensuring work is carried out according to plans, safety standards, and project timelines. They coordinate workers, monitor progress, and report to the Project Manager or Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily site operations and workers
• Ensure construction work follows approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards
• Monitor site safety and enforce health and safety regulations
• Assign tasks to workers and subcontractors and ensure productivity
• Track project progress and report issues or delays to management
• Inspect materials delivered to site and ensure proper usage
• Maintain site records, attendance, and daily reports
• Resolve minor on-site issues and escalate major problems when necessary
• Ensure tools, equipment, and materials are properly handled and stored

Requirements & Qualifications

• OND/HND/BSc in Building Technology, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or similar role
• Good knowledge of construction processes and safety regulations
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
