Job Description
- We are looking for a Finance & Accounts Officer to manage the day-to-day financial and accounting activities of the company.
- This role involves handling records, tracking income and expenses, supporting project finances, and ensuring proper financial reporting.
- You’ll work closely with management to keep our finances accurate, organized, and up to date.
Key Responsibilities
- Record and track all financial transactions accurately
- Prepare invoices, receipts, and payment records
- Manage expenses and ensure proper documentation
- Support budgeting and cost tracking for projects
- Reconcile bank statements and cash records
- Monitor payments from clients and follow up when necessary
- Handle supplier payments and maintain vendor records
- Prepare basic financial reports for management
- Ensure compliance with internal financial processes
Requirements
- HND, or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Practical experience in accounting or finance roles
- Good understanding of basic accounting principles
- Ability to use accounting software and spreadsheets
- Attention to detail and good record-keeping skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Integrity and confidentiality in handling financial information
- Experience in an engineering or project-based company is an advantage
