Job Description
Job SummaryWe are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Restaurant Supervisor to join our founding team. In this role, you will be instrumental in launching our daily operations, training a new staff, and ensuring every guest receives an exceptional experience from our very first service.Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Training: Assist in hiring and leading the initial team. Conduct pre-shift meetings to communicate daily goals and menu changes.
- Operational Setup: Supervise daily floor operations, including opening and closing procedures, ensuring all checklists and standard operating procedures (SOPs) are strictly followed.
- Guest Relations: Be the face of the restaurant on the floor. Proactively engage with guests to gather feedback and professionally resolve any complaints.
- Inventory & Quality Control: Monitor stock levels of food, beverages, and supplies. Conduct regular inspections to ensure the highest standards of food quality and sanitation.
- Administrative Support: Manage staff schedules to optimize labor costs and maintain accurate records of daily sales and cash flow.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years of supervisory experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Skills: Strong leadership, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Technical Savvy: Proficiency with modern POS systems and restaurant management software (e.g., Toast, KoomiPOS).
- Availability: Flexible schedule, including late nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Education: High school diploma required; a degree in hospitality will be a plus.
