Full Time Pharmacist
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Pharmacist located in Lagos State, Nigeria. The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications, reviewing prescriptions for accuracy, providing advice to patients and healthcare professionals on drug usage and side effects, maintaining pharmaceutical stock, and ensuring compliance with relevant legal and ethical guidelines. Additionally, the Pharmacist will advise on health and wellness and ensure the safe and effective use of medication.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, pharmaceutical products, and medication dispensing
- Ability to review prescriptions accurately and effectively provide patient counseling and education
- Proficiency in inventory management and maintaining pharmaceutical stock
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations, compliance, and ethical standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and other healthcare professionals
- Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- A Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) from a recognized institution and a valid practicing license with the relevant regulatory authority
- Previous experience in a community pharmacy or hospital setting is an advantage
Work hours: 7am to 10pm(Alternate days, Alternate weekends.
