Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Legal Adviser/Company Secretary based in Abuja. The Legal Adviser/Company Secretary will be responsible for providing legal advice to the organization, preparing and reviewing legal documents, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and addressing labor and employment law matters. The role also includes offering strategic legal guidance to support the organization’s operations and governance.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and expertise in Law, including corporate and commercial law
- Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation and thorough understanding of legal documentation
- Experience in addressing Legal Issues and providing sound Legal Advice
- Understanding of Labor and Employment Laws and their practical application
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) and qualification to practice as a lawyer
- Experience in the real estate or housing industry is advantageous
- Must be based in Abuja with minimum of 5 years working experience.
