Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and creative New Graduate or NYSC Corps Member to join our team as a Social Media Manager. In this role, you will support the company’s digital presence by assisting with content creation, posting, and audience engagement across multiple social media platforms.

This position is ideal for someone who is eager to learn, interested in digital marketing, and looking to build a solid foundation in social media management.

Key Responsibilities

·Assist in creating, scheduling, and posting content across Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube

·Help manage social media content calendars and ensure consistent posting

·Write simple, clear, and engaging captions aligned with each brand’s tone

·Monitor comments, messages, and mentions, and respond when required

·Actively engage on social media to improve visibility and engagement

·Actively build and grow audience engagement through comments, replies, and interactions across platforms

·Support content creation, including assisting during photo and video shoots

·Assist with basic photo and video editing for reels, stories, and short-form content

·Track engagement and growth metrics and assist with simple performance reports

·Stay updated on social media trends and suggest relevant content ideas

·Work closely with the team to support marketing and brand communication goals

Requirements

·Minimum of HND / Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Marketing, Media, or related field (added advantage)

·Prior experience managing or growing a social media page, with experience as a Social Media Manager, Content Creator, or in a similar role.

·Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Youtube).

·Strong understanding of social media platforms and how they work

·Genuine interest in social media, content creation, or digital marketing

·Strong written communication skills

·Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

·Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks

·Willingness to learn, take feedback, and improve

·Attention to detail and consistency

·Knowledge of Canva or basic video editing tools is an added advantage

·Ability to stay organized and maintain posting schedules
