JOB VACANCY: FUNDRAISER (NGO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED)

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and results-driven Fundraiser with proven NGO experience to mobilize resources and build strong donor relationships that support our mission. The ideal candidate will have experience developing fundraising strategies, securing grants and donations, and engaging stakeholders across the non-profit ecosystem.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement fundraising strategies to meet annual funding targets
• Identify, cultivate, and manage relationships with individual donors, corporates, foundations, and development partners
• Research and apply for grants, donor funding, and partnership opportunities
• Plan and execute fundraising campaigns, donor events, and online appeals
• Prepare fundraising proposals, donor reports, and impact updates
• Maintain accurate donor records and fundraising data
• Collaborate with program teams to align funding needs with project objectives
• Monitor fundraising performance and provide regular progress reports

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Communications, or a related field
• Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in fundraising within an NGO or non-profit organization
• Proven track record of successful fundraising and donor engagement
• Experience writing grant proposals and donor reports
• Strong understanding of donor compliance and reporting requirements
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Experience with international donors and development agencies
• Knowledge of digital fundraising and social media campaigns
• Strong networking and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to work independently and meet fundraising targets
• Familiarity with CRM or donor management systems
