Job Description

The Distribution Associate will be responsible for the accurate, timely, and compliant distribution of pharmaceutical products from the warehouse to internal branches and external partners. The role supports inventory integrity, regulatory compliance, and efficient supply chain operations to ensure uninterrupted product availability.

Key Responsibilities

Distribution & Logistics

• Prepare, pick, pack, and dispatch pharmaceutical products in line with approved orders and delivery schedules.
• Ensure correct labeling, documentation, and handling of products during distribution.
• Coordinate with drivers and logistics partners to ensure timely and secure deliveries.

Inventory Control

• Assist in receiving, inspecting, and recording incoming stock.
• Support regular stock counts, cycle counts, and reconciliation exercises.
• Report discrepancies, damages, expiries, or shortages promptly.

Compliance & Quality

• Ensure adherence to Good Distribution Practice (GDP) and internal SOPs.
• Maintain proper handling of temperature-sensitive and controlled products.
• Support audits and inspections by ensuring accurate records and traceability.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate dispatch notes, delivery logs, and inventory records.
• Update inventory systems and distribution trackers as required.
• Submit daily/weekly distribution reports to the supervisor.

Collaboration & Support

• Work closely with warehouse, procurement, finance, and pharmacy teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Support branch replenishment and emergency stock requests when required.
