We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Associate to join our team to promote our travel, tourism, education and consulting services, meeting with clients, closing deals and help expand our market reach.
Job Summary
The Business Development Associate will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate should be proactive, goal-oriented, and passionate about connecting with people and creating business value.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to increase company revenue.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Distribute flyers and promotional materials across Ibadan and surrounding areas.
- Prepare and deliver compelling business proposals and presentations.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional strategies.
- Represent Smile Dove at seminars, community events and school visits.
- Maintain accurate records of sales, leads, and client communications.
- Accurate report of daily/weekly activities to the Operation manager.
- Achieve or exceed assigned sales and business development targets.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, HND, OND in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred but not mandatory).
- Proven experience in sales, marketing, or business development.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passionate about sales, marketing and interacting with people.
- Honest, hardworking and responsible.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Must be willing to work with targets and incentives.
