Job Description
Job Summary: We are seeking two proactive and detail-oriented HMO Liaison Officers to serve as the primary point of contact between our healthcare facility and Health Management Organizations (HMOs). The successful candidate will ensure smooth authorization processes, documentation, and effective communication to optimize service delivery and revenue cycle performance/periodic auditing. You will also facilitate smooth admission, treatment approval, and discharge processes for HMO patients. Overall, you will build and maintain strong working relationships with HMO representatives.
Reports To: Hospital Administrator and the Medical Director
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum of – HND/BSc in Health Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, or a related field.
A 2–5 years experience in an HMO desk, hospital billing unit, or health insurance environment
Strong understanding of HMO operations, tariffs, and claims management.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Good interpersonal skills and patient-focused attitude.
High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hospital information systems.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
