Field Data Collection Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking detail-oriented and reliable Field Data Collection Assistants to join our market research team in Ibadan. This is a purely administrative field role focused on gathering market data from retail outlets. This is not a sales or marketing position. The successful candidates will be responsible for visiting retail shops, collecting basic information, and submitting real-time updates via mobile platforms.

Key Responsibilities

* Visit assigned retail locations within Ibadan to collect specific market data points.

* Verify merchant information and obtain consent for data registration.

* Submit daily reports and updates accurately using WhatsApp and Google Forms.

* Ensure all data collected meets the required quality and accuracy standards.

* Attend a mandatory 2-day in-person training at our Bashorun office prior to commencement.

Requirements & Qualifications

* Education: Minimum of NECO or O’Level equivalent.

* Tools: Must own and be proficient in operating an Android smartphone.

* Communication: Ability to read, write, and speak basic English fluently.

* Tech Savvy: Comfortable using WhatsApp and Google Forms for data entry.

* Local Knowledge: Must be a resident of Ibadan or immediate environs with good knowledge of local routes.

* Attributes: Must be punctual, honest, and capable of working independently under flexible hours.

* Age: Must be 18 years or older.

Compensation & Benefits

* Monthly Pay: Up to ₦70,00 (Performance-based, tied to verified registrations and merchant consent).

* Logistics: Transport support provided for specifically assigned field routes.

* Contract: 3-month initial contract with the possibility of a 3-month extension based on performance.

* Note: This role does not pay commissions; it is based on data verification targets.
