Agricultural Sales & Market Development Officer

We are looking for a motivated Agricultural Sales & Market Development Officer to help sell and connect our farm products—catfish, poultry, maggot (BSF), and garri—to local and international markets.

Key Duties

• Find and manage buyers, distributors, and export partners
• Sell farm products and secure supply contracts
• Open new local and international market opportunities
• Work closely with farm operations to match production with demand
• Meet sales targets and grow revenue

Requirements

• Experience in agricultural sales or market development
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Good understanding of agricultural products and buyers
• Self-driven and results-oriented
• Willingness to travel as needed
• Degree in Agriculture, Business, or related field is a plus
• Ideal candidate: someone who can turn farm production into consistent sales and reliable market access.

Role Summary

A Finance Analyst plays a crucial role in an organization’s financial health by performing various analytical tasks and providing insights to support strategic decision-making.

Key Performance Areas

• Assist in financial planning, reconciliation, and analysis processes to support overall financial operations.
• Conduct basic financial analysis, including variance and trend analysis.
• Prepare routine financial reports and presentations.
• Support day-to-day financial operations and transactions.
• Perform accurate and meticulous data analysis, focusing on freight and fuel financial and operational data.
• Monitor and validate data entries and reports to ensure data integrity.
• Update and maintain records of daily financial and operational transactions.
• Conduct detailed reconciliations of financial data (revenue, fuel, breakages) and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Ensure timely collection and distribution of relevant financial documentation.
• Track and document key financial metrics and time-sensitive milestones.
• Manage the completion and distribution of financial reports to clients and internal teams efficiently.
• Collaborate with fleet controllers and clients to reconcile daily mileage, fuel, and breakages data.
• Gather and analyze shipment profitability reports, providing data-driven recommendations.
• Fulfill additional financial analysis tasks as directed by the Finance Director (FD) and Financial Controller (FC).

Qualifications Required

• HND / BSc in Finance or Accounting and relevant subject.
• Relevant certifications, such as the ICAN or equivalent.

Experience and Skills Required

• 1 -3 years’ experience in similar role. Entry to mid-level position.
• Proficient in using accounting software and financial reporting tools.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong foundational knowledge of financial principles.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in using financial software and tools, such as Excel, financial modeling software, and data analysis tools.
• Developing communication and collaboration skills
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.

The Roller Compactor Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining the roller compaction equipment used in dry granulation processes within the pharmaceutical manufacturing plant. The role ensures consistent product quality, adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
Operate roller compaction machines for dry granulation in accordance with approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Set up, adjust, and monitor machine parameters such as roller pressure, gap, and speed to achieve required granule quality.
Perform in-process checks to ensure product quality meets specifications.
Accurately document batch manufacturing records (BMR) and logbooks.
Clean and sanitize the roller compactor and surrounding area according to cleaning SOPs.
Identify and report equipment malfunctions, deviations, or abnormalities to the Production Supervisor.
Assist in minor troubleshooting and routine maintenance activities.
Ensure strict compliance with GMP, safety, and company quality policies at all times.
Work collaboratively with Quality Control, Engineering, and other production staff to meet production targets.
Participate in audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.
