Our client, an agribusiness company, is seeking a proactive and driven Marketing and Sales Intern to support business growth, client acquisition, and marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support marketing campaigns across social media, email, and other digital platforms.
• Assist in creating engaging content and promotional materials for products and services.
• Conduct market research to identify potential clients and sales opportunities.
• Support client sourcing, outreach, and relationship management to drive sales growth.
• Collaborate with the business development team to implement sales strategies.
• Track and report on campaign performance, leads, and conversions.
• Assist in day-to-day sales and marketing activities as assigned.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Interest in sales, marketing, and client engagement.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with social media platforms, content creation, and digital marketing tools is an advantage.
• Enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced startup environment.

Job Summary:

As a Field Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating new business leads, building relationships with existing customers, and driving sales growth in a designated territory.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and other prospecting techniques.

2. Customer Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.

3. Sales Calls and Presentations: Conduct sales calls and presentations to customers and prospects to demonstrate products and services.

4. Territory Management: Manage and prioritize sales activities within a designated territory to achieve sales targets.

5. Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to management, including sales pipeline updates and customer feedback.

6. Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of products and services to effectively communicate value to customers.

7. Competitor Analysis: Stay informed about competitor activity, market trends, and industry developments to maintain a competitive edge.

8. Sales Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate and close sales deals to meet or exceed sales targets.

Skills and Qualifications:

1. Sales experience: 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in a field sales role.

2. Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

3. Interpersonal skills: Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with customers, colleagues, and management.

4. Time management and organization: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and maintain a high level of organization.

5. Product knowledge: Ability to quickly learn and understand products and services.

6. Technical skills: Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office, and other sales tools.

7. Bachelor’s degree: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

Working Conditions:

1. Travel: Frequent travel within a designated territory, potentially up to 80% of the time.

2. Work environment: Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.

Performance Metrics:

1. Sales revenue: Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals.

2. Customer acquisition: Acquire new customers and expand existing customer relationships.

3. Customer satisfaction: Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.

4. Sales forecasting accuracy: Provide accurate sales forecasts and pipeline updates.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₦150,000.00 – ₦200,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Osogbo: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

• Higher National Diploma (Preferred)

Experience:

• Sales Representative: 2 years (Required)
