As CHAMS continues to strengthen its market position, the company is seeking a Chief Financial

Officer to provide firm financial leadership and governance.

Overview

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a core executive leadership role responsible for CHAMS’

financial strategy, capital structure, fundraising execution, governance, and sustainability.

Beyond traditional financial stewardship, this role carries direct responsibility for fundraising activities,

investor engagement, and capital mobilization required to support growth, platform development, and

strategic initiatives.

This role requires a hands-on, grounded finance leader who understands both strategy and operational

realities, and who maintains strong visibility across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Strategy & Leadership

 Define and execute CHAMS’ financial strategy in alignment with corporate objectives and

growth priorities.

 Provide clear, data-driven financial guidance to the Chairman, Board, and executive

leadership.

 Support strategic planning, investment evaluation, and long-term sustainability.

Fundraising & Capital Management (Core Responsibility)

 Lead and execute all fundraising activities, including equity, debt, and structured financing

initiatives. Develop and manage investor relations, including engagement with institutional investors,

strategic partners, and financiers.

 Prepare and present robust investment materials, financial models, and funding proposals.

 Structure capital raises to optimize cost of capital, risk profile, and shareholder value.

 Coordinate due diligence processes and negotiations with investors and funding partners.

 Maintain ongoing communication and reporting to investors and funding stakeholders.

Financial Management & Controls

 Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and performance management.

 Ensure strong internal controls, financial discipline, and cost management.

 Review and approve major expenditures and financial commitments.

Governance, Risk & Compliance

 Ensure compliance with financial regulations, statutory requirements, and reporting standards.

 Oversee risk management frameworks and financial governance practices.

 Lead relationships with auditors, regulators, banks, and financial partners.

Capital & Stakeholder Management

 Manage treasury, cash flow, and capital allocation.

 Support fundraising activities, strategic partnerships, and investor engagements where

required.

 Ensure transparency and credibility in all financial communications.

Leadership & Oversight

 Lead and develop the finance function, including direct oversight of the Head, Finance &

Accounts.

 Set standards for accountability, professionalism, and execution.

Qualifications & Experience

 12–15 years’ progressive finance leadership experience within fintech, banking, financial

services, or technology-driven organizations.

 Professional qualification (ICAN, ACCA, CFA or equivalent).

 Demonstrable experience leading successful fundraising activities, including equity

and/or debt raises.

 Strong understanding of capital markets, investor relations, and funding structures.

 Proven experience in regulated financial environments.

 High integrity, sound judgment, and executive leadership maturity.Preferred Experience

 Experience supporting growth-stage or transformation-phase organizations.
