Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Abuja for a Mobile Application Developer. As a Mobile Application Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain innovative mobile applications.

Responsibilities

• Coding, debugging, and testing mobile applications, implementing object-oriented programming principles, and focusing on Android and iOS application development.
• Design, develop, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter (Dart).
• Integrate mobile applications with RESTful APIs and third-party services.
• Ensure application performance, security, scalability, and responsiveness.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Debug, optimize, and resolve application issues across devices and platforms.
• Stay up to date with Flutter updates, mobile development trends, and industry best practices.
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams to determine app requirements and provide valuable technical solutions will be a core part of this role.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Mobile Application Development and expertise in building Mobile Applications.
• Experience consuming REST APIs and handling JSON data.
• Knowledge of state management solutions (e.g. Provider, Riverpod, Bloc, GetX)
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Experience with mobile app development frameworks and tools.
• Proven hands-on experience with Flutter and Dart.
• Experience building and deploying apps for Android and iOS.
• Solid understanding of mobile app architecture (MVC, MVVM, Clean Architecture, etc.).
• Minimum 4 years of experience in mobile application development.

Nice to Have

• Experience working in fintech or on financial applications.
• Solid understanding of mobile security best practices (encryption, secure storage, authentication).
• Experience with payment gateways, wallets, or transaction systems.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps.
• Experience publishing apps to Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
