Job Title: Sales & Business Development Manager (Logistics)

Role Summary
The Sales Manager is responsible for leading the sales function and driving revenue growth across the logistics business. The ideal candidate will develop and implement sales strategies, manage key accounts, supervise the sales team, and consistently achieve corporate sales targets. This role requires strong leadership, market insight, and the ability to secure new business opportunities while maintaining high-value client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and support business expansion.
- Identify new business opportunities, emerging market trends, and customer needs within the courier/logistics industry.
- Build, nurture, and manage strong client relationships; oversee key account activities to ensure excellent service delivery.
- Lead, motivate, and supervise the sales team to ensure high productivity and consistent achievement of individual and team targets.
- Drive customer acquisition initiatives and negotiate profitable contracts.
- Track and analyze sales performance using CRM tools and sales data to inform decision-making.
- Prepare and present periodic sales reports, forecasts, and performance insights to senior management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance customer experience and strengthen market presence.
- Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings to promote brand visibility.
- Perform other sales-related duties as assigned.
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- 4–7 years of proven sales experience, preferably in logistics, courier services, transportation, or FMCG sectors.
- Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding revenue targets and driving business growth.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to make data-driven decisions using CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
