Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement solar power systems, including PV system layouts, electrical schematics, and connection diagrams.
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for solar installations.
- Perform technical calculations to ensure system efficiency, safety, and compliance with industry standards.
- Oversee the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of solar power systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to electrical components, wiring, and inverters.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of solar projects.
- Monitor system performance and optimize operations for maximum output.
- Stay updated with industry trends, standards, and regulations to maintain compliance.
- Provide technical support and training to the operations and maintenance teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of technical experience in the solar industry.
- COREN Certified
- In-depth knowledge of solar PV systems, including design, installation, and maintenance.
- Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD)
- Strong understanding of industry standards and safety regulations
- Hands-on experience with inverters, batteries, and other solar components.
- Strong project management and communication abilities.
