Job Summary
A reputable Industrial Supply Company located in Adeniyi Jones, Ikeja is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to manage sourcing, purchasing, and supplier relationships.
This role is ideal for a professional who understands industrial procurement cycles, cost control, and vendor management, and is committed to long-term growth within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and procure industrial materials, equipment, and supplies
- Evaluate vendors, negotiate pricing, and manage supplier contracts
- Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment
- Track procurement costs and support cost-saving initiatives
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures
- Liaise with finance, logistics, and operations teams
- Prepare procurement reports and performance updates
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum of HND / B.Sc. in Procurement, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field
- At least 2 years hands-on procurement experience (industrial or technical procurement preferred)
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Knowledge of inventory control and supply chain processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and procurement systems
- High level of integrity, organization, and attention to detail
- Willingness to commit to the company for not less than two years
- Proximity to Adeniyi Jones, Ikeja is an advantage
