Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Environmental & Social Specialist to lead assessment, planning, and compliance for projects. Responsibilities include conducting environmental and social impact assessments, developing mitigation and monitoring plans, ensuring regulatory and lender standards (including IFC and World Bank) are met, stakeholder engagement, grievance mechanisms, and capacity building. The role requires 7+ years’ experience in E&S, a relevant degree (environmental science, social development), strong analytical and report-writing skills, and experience managing teams and liaising with regulators and communities. Experience with safeguards, ESIA, resettlement, and gender or labor issues preferred. Excellent communication and English proficiency required.
